We just got back from three days in sunny Tampa, FL and... wow. Every time we do one of these live recording events we think it can't get better. And every time we're wrong.
We could tell you about the founders building things that genuinely stopped us in our tracks. We could tell you about the investor panel feedback that had the whole room leaning forward. We could tell you about the conversations that kept going long after the cameras stopped rolling. But honestly? Our community said it better than we ever could. So this month we're handing it over to them, photos, testimonials, and all.

Just back home from an incredible week in Tampa recording next season of The Pitch Show and am struggling to find the words to write about how meaningful it was. I’ve learned that Josh & Lisa just attract good humans. The crew: phenomenal. Great vibes all around. The founders? They all bring such humanity, coachability & vulnerability to the process.The LPs? Not just there to see if they made a good investment… but to learn more about the impact these companies might have on the world.

What makes this community special goes beyond capital. It’s the people. It was great to reconnect with founders and friends, and meeting new friends from The Pitch Family.

What Josh Muccio, Lisa Muccio, Peter Liu and the entire team at The Pitch have built isn't just a podcast. It's an ecosystem that actually cares about the people in it. They open doors that have been closed for decades, and they do it without losing the warmth that makes a founder feel human in a moment that could easily feel transactional. That matters.
It’s hard to pick a favorite moment, but the VIP dinner was extra yummy and the hangs were top notch!
Earlier this week I was in Tampa at The Pitch Show season 16 taping. As an LP in The Pitch Fund (now raising fund 2), attending is always an absolute highlight. On the final day of pitches I took a walk toward the bay during lunch to touch grass (itself a topic of conversation) and reflect on what Josh Muccio and Lisa Muccio have built. How nice and kind everyone is (a topic at our Wednesday dinner). And how special it is to hear founder stories, listen to their pitches, understand why the VC panel invests or doesn't, and then connect with VCs and founders afterward to offer words of encouragement, kudos, or just learn more about what they're building, how, and why.

I spend a lot of time with different VCs and what I love most about The Pitch community is the kindness and authenticity each person brings to the room. A week of amazing food, fun hangs and awesome founders pitching the coolest startups. It doesn’t get better than this!
